Want to Become a Barnegat Bay Society Member? Show your support through annual membership to the Bayshore Center at Bivalve, the non-profit organization that owns and operates the vessel in ports throughout NJ and beyond. Barnegat Bay (BB) Society Members (and BCB Members of Bosun level and above) are invited to exclusive events in the bay and throughout NJ. BB Society Membership starts at $100.

- 8am Arrival Barnegat Inlet
- 12 Noon Parade of Sail up the River welcoming AJ Meerwald from the mouth of Toms River to Island Heights YC
- 1 pm Arrival at Islands Yacht Club
- 5 – 7 pm Dockside Reception and Open Boat Tours at Island Heights Yacht Club
Thursday, July 10th
- 9:30 am – 3 pm Youth Education Programming (BBYRA Members)
- 7 -8 pm Evening Maritime Panel hosted by Island Heights Yacht Club – “Maritime Career & Leadership Pathways” (Panelists- Jane Millman, Magenta Project; Capt. Fern Hoffman, AJM : Billy de Rouville, de Rouville’s Boat Shop; & Buzz Reynolds, Olympic Sailor & Lifetime Barnegat Bay sailing Advocate)
Friday, July 11th
- 9:30am – 3pm Youth Education Programming w/ BBYRA & More
Saturday, July 12th
- AJM Finish Boat at the Toms River “Challenge Cup,” the 2nd oldest American sailing trophy, hosted by Toms River Yacht Club.
Sunday, July 13th
- 10 am – 12 Noon Morning coffee with A. J. Meerwald Captain Fern Hoffmann on the docks at Island Heights Yacht Club & Public “Open Boat” with tours
- 4 – 6 pm Evening Farewell Beach Party with a VIP flotilla and vessel visits from the shore for guests. Raw oysters, beverages and music on the shores of Save Barnegat Bay for Barnegat Bay Society Members and supporters of the Schooner A. J. Meerwald and the Bayshore Center at Bivalve at Bosun level and above.
