Join us for a Seabrook Farms film screening at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve.

We’ll be showing The Paradox of Seabrook Farms: Shattered Dreams, Restored Hopes. This powerful documentary that explores the history of Seabrook Farms and the communities that shaped it. It shares real stories from immigrant families who came to South Jersey after World War II.

As a result, the film offers a deeper look into a unique and important part of local history. It highlights both the challenges and opportunities these families experienced.

Special Guest

We’ll also be joined by Helle Gawrylewski.

She came to Seabrook as a child after her family fled Estonia following World War II. Over time, she built an incredible career and became fluent in multiple languages. Today, she shares her personal experiences and reflections.

Because of this, her story adds a meaningful and firsthand perspective to the film.
