2nd Friday Bayshore Center Bivalve

Join us for the first 2nd Friday of the season at The Bayshore Center at Bivalve!

This monthly community event brings together live music, local food, and engaging programming in a relaxed waterfront setting along the Delaware Bay. It’s the perfect way to spend a spring evening by the water.

Enjoy live music by Nick Marley from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. While you’re here, take in the scenic views and spend time with friends and family.

At 6:30 PM, guest speaker Dave McCarthy from the Millville Army Air Field Museum will present on the history of the Millville Army Air Field. This site is known as “America’s First Defense Airport” and was established in 1941.

During its operation, over 100,000 men and women served there. In addition, more than 1,500 pilots trained on site in fighter aircraft. Today, the museum preserves this important part of South Jersey history.

You can purchase food and drinks throughout the event. Enjoy fresh oysters from Bivalve Packing Co, along with fried seafood and other casual fare. Local beer from Glasstown Brewing Co. will also be available.

Overall, this event is open to the public and offers a fun way to enjoy local history, food, and entertainment by the bay.
