Join us on Saturday, June 13 for Build a Basket Boat, a hands-on creative workshop at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve.
Inspired by the maritime heritage of the Delaware Bay, participants will design and build their own miniature coastal sailboat using a basket hull, wooden masts, and fabric sails. This fun and engaging program combines creativity, craftsmanship, and coastal history into a unique take-home project.
During this workshop, participants will assemble and decorate a small sailboat while learning about the vessels that once worked the waters of the Delaware Bay. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to personalize your boat and create a one-of-a-kind design.
