Trained as a teacher\, his logbooks are filled with detailed accounts\, humor\, and insight into the daily life\, التجارة\, and culture of sailors in the mid-to-late 1800s. \nThrough preserved journals and family artifacts\, Jack brings this rich South Jersey maritime history to life in a way that is both educational and deeply personal. \nJack Brooks is a recently retired President/CEO of a faith-based nonprofit organization and has spent years preserving and sharing his family’s legacy. \nYou can purchase food and drinks throughout the event.
