While you’re here\, take in the scenic views and spend time with friends and family. \nAt 6:30 PM\, guest speaker Dave McCarthy from the Millville Army Air Field Museum will present on the history of the Millville Army Air Field. This site is known as “America’s First Defense Airport” and was established in 1941. \nDuring its operation\, over 100\,000 men and women served there. In addition\, more than 1\,500 pilots trained on site in fighter aircraft. Today\, the museum preserves this important part of South Jersey history. \nYou can purchase food and drinks throughout the event. Enjoy fresh oysters from Bivalve Packing Co\, along with fried seafood and other casual fare.
