DESCRIPTION:2nd Friday at Bayshore Center at Bivalve | November\nJoin us for 2nd Friday at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve on Friday\, November 13th from 5–8 PM for another evening of live music\, waterfront views\, local food\, and engaging history along the Delaware Bay. \nBring your friends and family to enjoy a relaxed night on the docks featuring live acoustic music\, fresh local oysters\, casual food favorites\, and a special guest speaker presentation exploring the important role Cape May County privateers played during the American Revolution. \nLive Music\nLive music information coming soon! \nNovember 2nd Friday Bayshore Guest Speaker\nAndy Urban\, Oni\,\nAt 6:30 PM\, join J. P. “Jamie” Hand for a presentation exploring the impact Cape May County’s 25 privateer captains and their crews had on the fight for American independence. \nJamie will present a slideshow based on The Cape May Navy: Delaware Bay Privateers in the American Revolution\, the book he co-authored with Dr. Daniel Page Stites. \nLearn more about the privateers who sailed the Delaware Bay during the Revolutionary War and the role these local captains and crews played in the fight for independence. \nFood & Drinks\nYou can purchase food and drinks throughout the event. Enjoy fresh oysters from Bivalve Packing Co. and Oyster Cracker Café favorites including fried oysters\, fried flounder\, chicken fingers\, mac and cheese\, and more.
